S14 Tension Rod Bushing Install
The GKTECH Billet Aluminum offset tension rod end inserts replace the inserts that go into the heim joint of your tension rod and give around 0.39'' more wheel clearance by moving the tension rod over. These are an easy DIY direct replacement that shouldn't take longer than 10-15 minutes to install. - To suit heim joints that measure 0.74'' (19mm) internal diameter and that have a width of between 0.82'' - 0.90'' (21mm - 23mm) - Providing that your heim joint is the size listed above these will fit S13 240sx, S13 Silvia, S14 240sx, S15 Silvia, RWD R32, RWD R33 and RWD R34 Skylines - Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and anodized for longevity
Will these fit with my tension rods?We can only confirm that these fit our V1 and V2 tension rods. They do fit many other tension rods, however we can't test every tension rod that's ever been made. We can however tell you that if the heim joint on your tension rod has an internal diameter of 0.74'' (19mm) and is 0.82'' - 0.90'' (21mm - 23mm) in width then these will fit.
Is there anything else that I need to install these inserts?Nope, simply unscrew the bolt that holds the end of the tension rod in, slip out the old inserts and slip these ones in. Piece of cake!
SPL Parts TITANIUM series Tension Rods (TR) provide for adjustment of front caster, allowing you to change front caster to optimize the turn-in response and to compensate for variances between the left and right caster. Low-friction articulating 3/4" FK Spherical Bearings on our Tension Rods eliminate the stock mushy rubber bushing to provide a more responsive steering feel. Engineered for maximum performance, Large diameter (1 3/8") Billet 6061-T6 rods are precision CNC machined and gun drilled to reduce unsprung weight while maintaning high strength and stiffness. Our exclusive 4130 Chromoly Double Adjuster offers wide adjustment range and precise adjustment, and is also CNC gun drilled to reduce weight. Blue Anodized Titanium hardware shaves even more unsprung weight from the arms, without compromising strength.
Custom 3/4" 3 piece FK Bearings Rod Ends manufactured in Connecticut feature a Teflon liner to provide quiet operation, low friction, smooth articulation, and eliminates bushing deflection under load. The PTFE liner is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race. The liner offers a very high load carrying capacity and has greatly increased dynamic wear characteristics. The operating temperatures of the liner ranges from -65º to 325º F, offering robust reliability for both street and track use.Our SPL Parts TITANIUM Tension Rods also feature specially machined mounting holes for our SPL Parts Brake Cooling Deflectors (#SPL TR BD), providing an easy way to improve brake cooling for track events and racing.
The product is designed for street car. Some connector made with hard-rubber bushing to improve control and durability. The product is suitable for original standard design and it could be easy to assemble on the correspond site. The product made with high quality control and proved up to safety standard test.
Harden rubber bushing made with high strength and anti-crack rubber material, solid steering response and driving suspension feel, resist side inclined while cornering at high speed maneuvers . Reduces vibration . Provides stability . Increase steering response . OEM direct replacement . Regular greasing not required . No noise or squeaks
Godspeed Project's front lower control arm is the perfect enhancement to your track or street car. Godspeed Project has been performing extensive research and development for the past year on the street and track. This Godspeed Project front lower control arm includes tension rods for complete high angle adjustability for your Nissan. NOTE: Vehicle realignment is highly recommended after installation.
After finding a loose rear balljoint during a previous install meant it was time to upgrade the suspension arms on Project GripS14. Instead of just replacing the stock bits with OEM balljoints, a worthy track focused upgrade is spherical bearings and adjustable arms. 2ff7e9595c
